Information you provide
When you subscribe to The Art of What You Don’t See, you provide an email address. That address is sent to Beehiiv, which manages the subscriber list and delivers the newsletter. JeffKirk.com does not require an account and does not collect payment information.
Website usage information
JeffKirk.com uses Google Analytics and may use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand visits and site performance. These services may process information such as pages viewed, approximate location, referring pages, browser and device type, interactions, and technical identifiers. Google Analytics may use cookies or similar identifiers. Cloudflare also processes request and security information, which can include IP addresses, to deliver and protect the site.
JeffKirk.com does not intentionally send your newsletter email address to Google Analytics.

JeffKirk.com relies on a limited number of providers that process information as needed to perform their services:
- Beehiiv manages newsletter subscriptions and email delivery.
- Google Analytics provides aggregated information about site usage.
- Cloudflare hosts, delivers, protects, and may measure site traffic.
Information may also be disclosed when required by law, to protect rights or safety, or in connection with a transfer of the site. Personal information is not sold or rented.

Your choices
Newsletter
You can unsubscribe at any time by using the unsubscribe link included in every newsletter email.
Analytics and cookies
You can limit or delete cookies through your browser settings. Google also provides a Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Blocking cookies or scripts may affect some site features, although the published Observations remain available without an account.

Retention and security
Information is retained only for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described here, subject to provider settings, legal obligations, and legitimate operational needs. Newsletter information remains with Beehiiv until it is removed, deleted, or no longer needed.
Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are used to protect information. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. A request may require reasonable verification before it can be completed.
